Iced Cherry Chia Collagen Latte

Tangy and sweet cherries along the floral notes of honey are the perfect balance to the warm spices of chai tea. This low-caffeine recipe is refreshing, filled with inflammation-fighting antioxidants and boosted with collagen to make the ultimate anti-aging drink. It could not be easier to scale this recipe up if you are making lattes for a crowd. You can also batch prepare the tea and the cherry syrup ahead of time, store both in airtight containers and refrigerate for up to one week. This sponsored recipe features Naked Collagen Peptides.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup fresh or frozen cherries
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup strongly brewed chai tea
  • 1 scoop Naked Collage Pepties
  • 1 cup milk of choice frothed, if desired
  • Lemon zest optional, but highly encouraged
  • Ice

Instructions

  • Place cherries and honey in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 60 to 90 seconds or until the mixture is juicy and the cherries are softened. Stir and mash gently, set aside to cool
  • To a 16oz glass or jar, add brewed tea and juice from cherry mixture (I also like to add the pieces of mashed up cherries) and collagen powder. Stir well to combine (a frother works well).
  • Fill with ice and top with frothed milk. Finish with a sprinkle of lemon zest, if desired and enjoy.
