Make Ahead Acai Bowls! Smoothie bowls are very popular in my house — and soooooo expensive to order out! Instead we are trying to make ahead and stack in the freezer to save time and money!

Blend a base of any frozen fruit + a splash of liquid and optional sweetener! Blend, spread cover, and freeze!

Allow to defrost for 10 mins (or pop in the microwave on the DEFROST setting for an about 1 minute) and add your favorite toppings!

Make Ahead Acai Bowls
Serves: 2

1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup frozen peaches
1/2 pack unsweetened frozen acai puree
2-3 tbsp coconut water, more if needed to reach desired consistency
2 tsp agave or maple syrup (optional)
toppings: fresh fruit, granola, peanut butter, chopped nuts, mini chocolate chips, shredded coconut

Combine ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Transfer to freezer and microwave safe containers, cover and store in the freezer for up to 3 months.
